Supply Chain Manager
Location: Ghimbav, Brasov
Job type: full time (Mon-Fri, 8:00 – 16:30)

Position summary:
– Responsible for the Supply Chain functions in the factory: Sourcing and Purchasing, Material and Production Planning, Warehousing and Shipping
– Responsible for securing needed competences and capabilities within Supply Chain (processes and staff)
– Member of the Management group on factory level and on Global Supply Chain level
– Responsible for the SQDCP performance of the plant from a SCM point of view (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People)
– Joint responsibility for Operational Sales department with European Sales Manager (only applicable in our Romanian plant).
Qualifications:
– 5 years of Supply Chain management/ middle-management experience and of Purchasing experience on strategic, tactical and operational level
– Familiar with tools like Category Management, Tenders, ABC classification, EDI, ERP and MRP settings as well as Policy Deployment (PD) and Point Of Impact (POI)
– Used to prepare and perform negotiations with suppliers and service providers
– Education as either Production Engineer, Master within Business Administration and Supply Chain or similar
– Strong management skills (developing, coaching and motivating)
– Experience from one of the following fields: Automotive, Wind or Metal industry
– Strong communication skills, both internally and to the supply side
– Good command of English in speech and writing (advanced level)
– Strong ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks and follow up on them in an environment with short and changing deadlines
– Good knowledge of Production and Quality Management/ Procedures and the interfaces between them and SCM
– Good knowledge of any ERP systems (here we use AX, training will be provided)
– Detail oriented without losing sight of the big picture/ overview
– Good commercial understanding and knowledge
– Strong insight in cost drivers, cost calculations and curios on finding cost saving.
