Logistics Specialist - Office & Warehouse (Brașov)

Monthly salary: 5000 lei Net + meal tickets (40 lei/ day)

Company activity: Supplier of insulation and heating materials for industrial furnaces
We are a small business operating in the field of heating technology, supplying quality materials for insulation & heating of industrial furnaces since the year 2000. As an authorized distributor in Romania of the most famous European producers of refractory materials, we offer a complete set of related services – design, installation, energy consumption audit.
Position summary:
We are looking for a new colleague to join our team, a person who is flexible, open to learn and collaborate. This position will combine two functions:
I. Office administration – 80% of the time 💻
II. Warehouse activity – 20% of the time 📦
Essential functions:
I. Provide administrative support to our Logistics Office
– Maintain a good relationship with Suppliers and Clients
– Handle the communication between our office and our Suppliers and Partners
– Perform basic primary Accounting tasks (billing, invoicing) and contract management
– Optimize freight transports needed by clients, searching for best solutions (i.e. search for freight carriers).
II. Manage our Warehouse activity
– Drive to our Warehouse (also in Brasov) 2-3 times per week to organize the incoming merchandise: loading/ unloading (aprox. 1 hour each time) since the materials are delivered from our stock.
Details about the merchandise you will be handling:
– The goods come on pallets; weight of frequent pallets 300 kg. On these pallets there are boxes of 15 kg, that are delivered to customers sometimes on a pallet, sometimes individually.
– We also have other types of pallets, max weight 800 kg. There are 25 kg buckets on them, that can go to customers, individually. Goods on pallets heavier than 800 kg go directly to customers.
Requirements:
– Attention to details and good administrative skills
– PC knowledge: experience with Microsoft Office
– Good communication skills: proactive in reaching out to suppliers/ customers when a response is needed
– Medium English level: we are a Romanian-English company and it’s necessary to communicate in both languages
– Affinity to learn basic technical notions: you will learn concepts common in our industry
– B category driving license.
